一、分数暗意法

（一）中枢端正

1. 基本结构：分子用基数词，分母用序数词；分子>1时，分母用复数款式

- 1/2 → a(one) half

- 1/3 → a(one) third

- 2/4 → two fourths

2. 复杂分数：可用 over 简明抒发

- 22/9 → twenty-two over nine

3. 带分数：整数与分数之间用 and 邻接

- 6 2/5 → six and two fifths

（二）例句

- Only one fifth of air consists of oxygen.

- You should finish the work within one and a fourth hours.

二、极少暗意法

1. 读法：极少点前按基数词读，极少点后需逐一读出数字

- 1.42 → one point four two

- 31.04 → thirty-one point zero four

2. 百分数款式： % 读作 percent

- 2.5% → two point five percent

三、百分数暗意法

（一）中枢端正

1. 结构：由基数词（或极少）+ 百分号（%）构成， % 读作 percent

- 15% → fifteen percent

- 0.6% → zero point six percent

2. 增减语境：暗意“增、降”百分数时，常与 by 连用

（二）例句

- 30% of the students in our class are girls.

- The price of cotton was reduced by 20 percent.

四、倍数暗意法

（一）中枢句型（用 times 抒发）

④ …times + compared with + 被比较对象 与…比较，……若干倍 The number of the students in our school has increased four times compared with 1980.

（二）用 double 抒发

- 含义：暗意“两倍的”或“是……的两倍”

- 例句：The production is now double what it was ten years ago. / The output has been doubled in the past ten years.

五、约数暗意法

1.大略 about， or so， around， more or less， roughly， some + 数词 There are about twenty thousand books in the library.

2.大于，多于 more than， over， or more + 数词 The people attending the meeting are over 1，000.

3.小于，少于 less than， under， below， up to， almost， nearly + 数词 He will come under an hour.
